Realizing Your Potential to Get Hired will be the focus of a Saturday Special hosted by the Traverse Bay Poverty Reduction Initiative (PRI) October 18 in Traverse City. The event is being presented by Northwest Michigan Works! and Goodwill Industries, along with other collaborating agencies, and will run from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the TBAISD Career-Tech Center located at 880 Parsons Road. Check-in will begin at 9:00 a.m.
“This event is a safe learning environment for attendees to practice putting their best self forward in looking for employment,” said Sakura Raftery, Director of Workforce Development, Goodwill Industries of Northern Michigan. "We will provide a hands-on experience related to seeking work and have resources available to break down barriers to employment.”
