Smart Commute Week June 4 - 8, 2018We are thrilled to be part of Smart Commute Week going on from June 4 - 8, in the Traverse City area.

Smart Commute Week is an annual celebration held during the first week of June. The week consists of events that promote cycling, walking, taking the bus and carpooling. Free daily breakfasts are hosted at various locations around town for smart commuters. Every year community members challenge each other to a friendly competition known as the Smart Commute Week Challenge.

Join us for Smart Commute Breakfast on Thursday, June 7, from 7 - 9 a.m. at our Traverse City office, located at 415 E. Eighth St. (parking in rear). This is free to attend and open to those participating in Smart Commute Week. We'll be featuring delicious food from Press On Juice, and coffee from Higher Grounds.

In addition to a delicious breakfast, we'll also have an adaptive sailboat on display from our friends at Traverse Area Community Sailing for you to see up close. Our friends at Lighthouse Rehabilitation will have a couple hand-cycle bikes here for you to tryout first-hand. We'll also have a BATA bus on-site for you to ask questions and explore.
