The Kalkaska County Parks and Recreation Committee invites Kalkaska County residents, property owners, and visitors to attend a Public Forum at the Kaliseum on Tuesday, January 22 from 6:30-8pm. The committee is seeking community input, as the County is in the process of creating a Recreation Plan to help guide future activities and improvements in Kalkaska.
During the meeting, participants will:
Learn more about recreation plans
Hear results from the 2012 Kalkaska County Recreation survey
Discuss recreation needs and improvements
Share ideas for recreation in Kalkaska County
In addition to the meeting on January 22, Kalkaska County residents are also invited to partake in the regular meeting of the Parks and Recreation Committee at the Kaliseum on Wednesday, January 23 at 8 a.m., to give input and discuss opportunities. Both meeting are open to all members of the public under Michigan’s open meetings act.
