The Lighthouse to Host Adaptive Sports this Summer

the lighthouse logoThe Lighthouse is offering FREE Adaptive Cycling and Paddling Clinics through Summer 2015. People of all abilities are invited to experience cycling and paddling with the use of adaptive equipment and modifications as needed. The Lighthouse's clinics will provide an opportunity to exercise, connect with people, socialize, and experience the beauty of Northern Michigan. All clinics start at 5:30pm.

Cycling Clinics:


  • Wednesday, May 27 at Darrow Park, Traverse City

  • Wednesday, June 17 at Interlochen State Park

  • Wednesday, July 15 at Darrow Park, Traverse City

  • Wednesday, August 19 at Interlochen State Park


*Pre-registration is strongly encouraged for cycling clinics

Tentative Kayaking Dates:


  • Wednesday, July 29 at Interlochen State Park

  • Wednesday August 12 Interlochen State Park
