Traverse City Roller Derby proudly presents Veterans Appreciation Night at their July Double Header on Saturday, July 20 at the Grand Traverse Civic Center--Cherry Bombs vs. Capital Corruption and Toxic Cherries vs. Lansing Derby Vixens.
The first 50 Veterans and Current Service Members can get a FREE ticket by registering here. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the first whistle blows at 6:00 p.m. Tickets for the general public can be purchased online by clicking here. (Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.) The event is family-friendly--kids 10 and under are free. (NOTE: All seats for children under 10 must be reserved by ordering a free ticket online. Free tickets will not be mailed, please print your order confirmation to redeem kids tickets at the door.
Special fundraising activities that evening will benefit Disability Network's efforts in our community--including assisting our local veterans who have been wounded overseas. Elks Club #323 will provide US Flags in their honor.
An After Party to meet the derby girls will be held at InsideOut Gallery in the Warehouse District of Traverse City. Cash Bar and Music provided by DJ Sweet & Low and DJ Jr.
