On Saturdays from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm Disability Network is excited to share a virtual social group celebrating digital party games. This is a one hour and thirty-minute group moderated by Disability Network staff. We will be trying out different party games made by Jackbox Games. These will include games like: Drawful, a game where you draw a picture based on a prompt from the computer, and whoever figures out what you drew wins points. Fibbage, a game where the computer gives you part of a sentence. You finish that sentence off with a lie, then everyone votes on which lies sound believable. Bracketeering, a game where the computer asks you for an answer to a very silly question, and then your answer and everyone else’s answers duke it out in a tournament-style instant-elimination bracket until there is only one winner.
To play these games, you will need
-A working internet connection.
-One device that can browse the internet, and one separate device with a touch-screen(like a phone or tablet).
-A Discord account (you can register for an account at https://discord.com/).
-Completed online Virtual Accessible Gaming Social Group Registration Form.
-Completed Disability Network paperwork. Once you complete the online registration form, Andrew will email you a copy of the Disability Network paperwork that needs to be completed to participate in the Accessible Gaming Social Group. After that paperwork is filled out by you or a family member, please email it back to Andrew. This paperwork can be filled out on a computer or phone. Andrew will also discuss what gaming systems you have and current gaming group details.
