Disability Network is excited to share a virtual social group celebrating all types of online games. This group meets online from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm on Tuesdays and Fridays in May. Currently, the gaming group is hoping to play any and every game that people enjoy. From board games like Carcassonne and Saboteur to free cross-platform games like Among Us, Brawlhalla, Fortnite, Rocket League and Dauntless, we like to try out a wide variety of games. This is a three hour group moderated by Disability Network staff.
To play these games, you will need the following:
-A working internet connection.
-A personal email address..
-For video games, you will need a working computer, or current-gen gaming system that can play online with others.
-For board games, you will need a device that can browse websites (such as a computer, phone or tablet).
-A Discord account (you can register for an account at https://discord.com/).
-Already downloaded games that everyone can play.
-Completed online Virtual Accessible Gaming Social Group Registration Form.
-Completed Disability Network paperwork. Once you complete the online registration form, Andrew will email you a copy of the Disability Network paperwork that needs to be completed to participate in the Accessible Gaming Social Group. After that paperwork is filled out by you or a family member, please email it back to Andrew. This paperwork can be filled out on a computer or phone. Andrew will also discuss what gaming systems you have and current gaming group details.
